They are both made from heavy muslin that has been stained/painted and sanded to make them look aged. The first one has cotton batting added to it to make it fluffy. They each have a poem attached to their side with twine and sticks for legs that are also held in with twine. They are about 9 inches long by 7 inches high. She is made from muslin that has been stained, painted, sanded and rubbed with cinnamon to give her an old worn look. She is 16 inches tall, has a handstitched face, with yarn hair. She wears a white/gold colored dress with a handstitched heart and gold bloomers. Her necklace is made of rusted bells and there is a rusted heart pinned to the front of her dress. A simple Raggedy Anne(Click on the image above to enlarge) This is a simple Raggedy Anne, dressed in her somewhat traditional cosutme. She is 23 inches tall, made of heavy muslin that has been stained and sanded to give her a worn look. Her legs and shoes are painted and sanded as well. Shoes have rusted bells sewn on. Her blue checkered dress, white pinafore and white blooms have not been stained. So she would be perfect for someone who likes the prim but not grungy look.
