Hello, and welcome to my little part of the Prim Nest! I am honored to be here with so many talented primitive artists! I have been creating since childhood, and love everything primitive and raggedy, too! Although I use many of my own designs, I also enjoy creating from the wonderful patterns of others.
All items offered are made by me in my smoke free and currently pet free studio, with great attention to detail. Quality workmanship, items signed and dated, and nice packaging and careful shipping are all included, too!!
Perhaps you have seen my work featured in the Premiere issue of PRIMS (April 2010) Magazine, as well as in the October 2010 and April 2011 issues!! PRIMS is a wonderful publication from Stampington and Company, and I am proud to have been asked to submit my work for consideration in this collectible magazine!
I hope you enjoy your time here at Prim Nest, and perhaps may even find something for your own nest!! Please contact me if you have questions, and take a peek at my patterns available on Patternmart, too! Happy Shopping!! Prim Blessings to all, Trudy

PRIMITIVE RABBIT DELLA MAE

(Click on the image above to enlarge)
All gardens need a bunny or two....and Miz Della Mae Bunny is the resident rabbit at the garden of the mayor of Burnsville. She tends to the flowers, keeps the varmints away, and makes sure things are always in tip-top shape! She loves her job, and works hard to keep everything perfect, just in case an unexpected visitor stops by.
Miz Della has a great bunny face, a stuffed patch nose primitively stitched on, and wonderful old button eyes. She has great crochet cotton whiskers, and aren't her ears just wonderful??!!
Della Mae wears her best garden frock...a calico dress, with wonderful lace edged apron. The apron is cut from an old vintage table linen, and is attached to the dress with rusty safety pins with rusty bells attached. The dress has a big button at the neckline, and Della Mae wears wonderful muslin pantaloons, too!
This prim bunny is made from muslin, has been extremely grunged, and is designed to sit with help or hang. She will arrive signed and dated, and packaged nicely. She is intended as a decor item for adults and not as a toy for children. Thanks to Catnap Primitives for the design.
Thanks so much for stopping by Crows in the Attic Primitives!! Please stop by my blog and sign up for my mail list, too! And just think.....Spring is right around the corner.....well, maybe!!

SIMPLE ANNIE

(Click on the image above to enlarge)
In the style of an early primitive doll, this simple annie is a wonderful addition to the prim home for any time of year. She is made from muslin, has been heavily grunged for the extreme prim look, and is designed to sit with help or hang.
Simple Annie has a simple stitched face, and sparse raggedy red perle cotton hair that is stitched to her head. She measures just about 17" tall, not including the length of her hair.
This simple rag doll is dressed in a basic homespun dress, similar to the one pictured, fastened with rusty safety pins with rusty bells attached. She has some simple stained muslin undies, too! Please note that this doll is made to order, and I don't have the exact homespun pictured. Please specify a color family for your dress choice!
She will arrive signed and dated and packaged nicely. She will surely look wonderful displayed in your home!!
Simple Annie is an Annabelle's Attic design, and is not intended as a toy for children.
